I spend hours there with my Pentax K-3 mk.2 or my K-3 and normally my Sigma 150-500mm F5-6.3 APO DG OS HSM using in lens OS. Mud Lake is <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"> &#8220;a provincially significant wetland and an Area of Natural and Scientific Interest by the Government of Ontario. It is also classified as a protected area by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">This 60-hectare natural environment is a complex of wetlands along the Ottawa River, the majority of which is made up of deciduous swamp forest. The driest part, to the west, contains a mature forest stand which is made up predominantly of white, red and burr oak, as well as white pine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Mud Lake is a habitat for a wide diversity of animal species.
